Chiang Rai's Big Buddha!

Wat Huay Pla Kang, often mistaken for Buddha or Chiang Rai's Big Buddha. The statue is a representation Guan Yin who is the Goddess of Mercy.

The staue of Guan Yin stands at around 90 meters (295ft) tall with a total of 26 floors, and an observation deck on the the 25th floor. This can be accessed by a staircase or elevator.
