Darrell Brooks, who is representing himself in the Waukesha parade attack trial, has rested his case. Jury instructions start on Tuesday, the judge said. Also in court on Monday, Brooks refused to engage with Judge Jennifer Dorow when she asked repeatedly if he would like to testify in his own trial, and the judge eventually ruled he had forfeited his right to testify. Judge Dorow then declared the defense had rested and sent the jury home for the day.
