WMA Club Meeting Fall Semester 2022 - Meeting I: Welcome/Interest Meeting

Hello and Welcome to the first FDU Wealth Management Advisory Club Meeting of the 2022 Fall Semester. In this meeting, we will discuss what this club does and have some surprise announcements to make.

If this is your first time watching our videos, here is a cliff notes version of what our club is. Wealth Management Advisory Club aims to provide a space where students can develop an understanding of Wealth Management, learn the importance of setting goals to achieve financial success, enable students to discover their career passions, and create a sense of community for those interested in Wealth Management Advisory.

This club is open to not just all FDU Silberman Business Majors, but all majors at FDU are invited to come and join the club.

Reminders for our members:

1. Meetings this semester will be taking place every Thursday from 5-6 PM in Mansion 12 on the Florham Campus/TBA for Metro Campus/Zoom for anyone who cannot make the meetings in-person
2. We will be having our meetings in person not only on the Florham Campus, but on the Metro Campus for the very first time making us the first FDU Silberman Business Club to do so. Stay tuned for where meetings will be held on Metro Campus in the coming days.
3. Please attend the Club Fair on Wednesday 9/8 in the Student Center Mall on the Florham Campus from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Tell all of your friends about our club.
4. Please sign up for the Accounting & Finance Recruiting Fair on Wednesday September 14th from 1 to 4 PM in Hennessy Hall (NOTE: Transportation will be available for any Metro Members that want to participate in the fair.)
5. If you have any ideas for future meetings like which speakers should come in or any topics that you would like to talk about, please let us know.
6. If you have not joined our GroupMe Group Chat, ask one of the members or e-board members so that we can add you in.
7. If you want discounts on Wiley Products, please see our Club President, Jack Mitchell.
8. If you are interested in becoming our Public Relations Representative, please let any e-board member know.
9. If you are interested in learning about stocks and want to invest money, come to Markets Update with Jon Budish every Tuesday from 3-4 PM on both campuses in the Bloomberg Labs and via Zoom.
