Daniel 9:25-27 is about the Second Beast in Revelation 13:11 The second beast is the false prophet, a false messiah. In verse 26, the people of the "messiah" will destroy the temple. The Temple was destroyed by Rome and Jesus is Not Catholic. Therefore, Daniel is writing about a Third Temple at the End of the Tribulation.

Daniel 9:25 Know and understand this: From the issuance of the decree to restore and "rebuild" Jerusalem, until the Messiah, the (false) Prince, there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It (Jerusalem) will be "rebuilt" with streets and a trench, but in times of distress. (Tribulation)

"Rebuild" Jerusalem

This means Jerusalem will be invaded as written in Zechariah 14. It is possible that the third temple will be finished "after" the invasion of Jerusalem. The lower floors are finished and the only part left to build is the temple itself. Even though the Orthodox Jews, who reject Jesus as their Messiah, have declared that their Messiah is here, I don't believe that Schlomo is the second Beast. The Israelites would not destroy their own city or their temple. There must be another person who does not believe that Jesus is the Christ. This leaves out the Muslims because they know that Jesus is an anointed one. The prophets are messiahs because they were anointed ones, which is the definition of the Hebrew word: messiah. I believe that most Muslims do not understand this chapter in the Quran.

Messiah does not mean died and resurrected. Some of them know that Jesus was an anointed prophet who went around doing good and healing the people. On the other hand, what the false Messiah believes about the true Messiah is not necessary for him to be a False Prophet. Therefore, the invasion "could" be lead by the President of Turkeye', Recep Tayyip Erdoğan because he is battling Iran but, Iran might beat him. In fact, I am reminded of the temples being built in Dubai.

The Beast will sit down in the Third Temple and declare himself God and in the middle of the week he will put an end to the sacrifices that have already started.
