MyFaction mode just doesn't work in WWE 2k22

So I just got WWE 2k22 after a 7 year hiatus of buying WWE games. 2k14 was my last foray into these as I felt like they weren't getting better and just made me want to play the classics like Smackdown vs Raw 2007 and my favorite Smackdown Here Comes the Pain. But i found this for half off so I figured it was finally time to pick it up and give it a shot.

The GM mode plays it a little safe but I was looking forward to dabbling in the obvious cash grab MyFaction mode, but I cant even get the thing to work. The game keeps telling me to STOP THE DAMN MATCH.

Maybe if JR was saying it, I wouldn't be so mad about it.
