What is the immune system? Simply explained!
Heinz Lüscher, MD, takes on the simple questions about the immune system. What is the immune system? What does it do? And please, in simple terms!
In summary, the immune system consists of white blood cells and antibodies. These are transported in the blood and protect us from bacteria and viruses. But, the immune system is incredibly complicated and not easy to understand in its fullness. That is why we try to answer the question "What is the immune system" as simple and straightforward as possible. Our target group are people who have nothing to do with medicine. The so called newbies.

The answer to the question "What is the immune system" is of course much more complex than we can answer in these few minutes. The goal of the Simple Show is to provide simple, straightforward answers to complicated topics within the integrative medicine field.
