Nature in Action: Gnat Swarm

I was filming an oak tree path down at Mepkin Abbey near Moncks Corner, SC when I saw this swarm of gnats. They had not yet detected the scent of my delectable flesh so I figured I’d film them before they ate me. Nature in action as gnat swarms are mating rituals.
