New Study claims Covid-19 was genetically engineered in a lab

The virus that caused the Covid-19 pandemic was most likely created in a laboratory, a study by German and American scientists has claimsed. The problem is, if this was designed in a labratory and the labratory was doing "gain of function" research, why wasn't Covid-19 more lethal? At least one report suggested that 94% of Covid-19 deaths was comorbid. A CDC study of vaccinated people showed that 75% of Covid-19 deaths included at least four comorbidities. Either way, it was a significant number of the population who did not die from Covid-19 by itself.
