Steve Bannon was recently indicted on the count of "Contempt of Congress" for not complying with a congressional subpoena to testify about January 6th. In the wake of Bannon's indictment, many conservative personalities have asked: "do you have contempt for congress?" Mr. Watson asks a slightly different question: is contempt for congress morally necessary in representative government?
