Apples are one of the most well-liked fruits in the United States due to its vibrant colour and satisfying crunch. It's a well-known adage that "one apple a day keeps the doctor away." While apple consumption won't miraculously reverse any health problems, it will help.

To the Americas, European settlers brought apples. They liked them better than the native North American crabapple, a smaller and tangier fruit.
