Protesters clash with police in Chisinau 23.10.2022

Footage from today's anti-government rally in Chisinau.

Thousands of people called for early elections and the resignation of President Sandu due to rising prices and the energy crisis.

The demonstrators tried to break through to the parliament building, which ended in clashes with the police and harsh detentions.

The protesters again set up tents, this time near the building of the Prosecutor General's Office. They plan to stay there until prosecutors respond to police violations.
