The story of Joseph in the Bible, found in Genesis Ch.37-50, is a story of suffering and destiny. While his brothers meant to do him great evil, The Creator meant it for ultimate good.
Is there a purpose to our sufferings? I think the story of Joseph helps us deal with that question.
