Tagaytay, Philippines. Some new Filipino friends of mine invited me to join them in Tagaytay, a 2 hour drive from Manila to see Taal Lake, Taal Volcano, eat the local food such as bulalo (beef bone marrow soup), isaw (chicken intestine), and isol ng manok (chicken butt). I also try barako, one of the rare kinds of coffee grown here in the province of Cavite.
