Slips, trips, and falls are commonplace in the workplace, and most cases require simple measures.
Simple precautions can frequently eliminate the risk of falls caused by slick surfaces. Slip and fall accidents are commonplace and can happen anywhere, including the workplace and the home. All people, regardless of age, physical condition, or disability, are vulnerable to the dangers of slip-and-fall incidents and their outcomes. Injuries can range from minor scrapes and bruises to permanent brain damage.

Even for mobile and healthy individuals, a slip and fall accident can bring years of suffering. The risks and their results can be avoided, thankfully.

Slips, trips, and falls can be caused by a number of factors, including wet or #slippery floors, loose flooring, carpets, or mats, sloping walking surfaces, shoes with soggy, muddy, smooth, or oily bottoms, and weather hazards including rain, ice, and snow.

Eliminating potential slip and fall hazards is often as easy as sweeping up liquid spills and drying off damp spots. To further protect the area, you can set up a perimeter, mop or brush the floor, and tape down any non-flat floor coverings like mats, rugs, or carpets.
