Stag beetles are something I like to collect. It's not an investment; it's a pastime.
I don't currently have any extremely rare stag beetles, but I do have a few that are rare.
The majority of true collectors are reluctant to hunt out specific rare stag beetles "because it will increase in value". They'll spend the money because they want it for their collection.Lucanus parryi collected by Boileau in 1899. I don't know much about this stag beetle, but I assume he dwells inland in a picture-perfect body similar to ones that were once seen in Japan. Despite being a little stag beetle, it has a distinctive texture thanks to the fox on the top spring. All-black ones are extremely uncommon.
A intriguing continent is China, where pandas, a rare animal that consumes bamboo, reside and visit fields in the country's center region where this species has been discovered.
