Tomahawk Steak Served Flaming on a Volcanic Rock at the Base of an Active Volcano

On a break from plant ediciones ceremonies, our retreat guests, along with my partner and her family, splurged on what turned out to be te finest steak we’ve ever tasted. The Tomohawk steak was served flaming and still cooking on a slab of lava from Volcán Tungurahua. The price was a few hundred dollars less than a comparable cut at a high end restaurant in the US.

In the shadow of Volcano Tungurahua, downtown Banos, Ecuador is one of the most incredible destinations on Earth. Later that night the thermal baths cleansed our spiritual palates after a night of exquisite carnage.
