Jesus Is God

The Bible is clear, Jesus is God. The core of the New Testament Gospel is that Jesus is the divine Son of God, who died on the cross for sins and rose from the dead. The title "Son of God" here refers to Jesus' place in the Trinity. But why do Christians believe that Jesus is a person of the Trinity?
