Tourette Syndrome is a condition of the nervous system which causes people to have 'tics', sudden involuntary twitches, sounds or movements that people do repeatedly.

Neurodiversity describes how people experience, process information and interact with the world around them in many different ways.

Becky Simpson Ryan is a therapist based in the UK and has had a diagnosis of Tourettes Syndrome since she was fourteen. She works to educate others on neurodiversity through social media and provides support through her counselling practice.

In today's discussion Becky shares her first hand experience and insight into Tourettes Syndrome and dispels many myths around it.
