The Broken Arrow Police Department released the body camera footage from an incident that left one person dead and a Broken Arrow officer shot.

One dead, police looking for two more in shooting of Broken Arrow officer

On Nov. 6, 2021 around 2:40 a.m., BAPD tried to pull over a driver near Kenosha and County Line Road. When the driver stopped, two people got out of the car and ran away. The driver was identified as Cory Batt who stayed on the scene. Video shows a confrontation with Officer Caleb Sherman and gunshots are heard.

A shot hit Sherman hit in the leg and taken for medical treatment. Investigators later found Batt dead and believe he shot himself. Police worked to find the two people who ran from the car and identified one as Jason Maple. He's been located and arrested for outstanding warrants.

In addition to the raw video, BAPD released a version slowed down with captions to explain the situation.
