For the Love of the Gay Particle

This is the first video I did back in 2016. It was struck down because of course it was, along with the 20ish other videos I had posted.

Follows is how it was originally presented. It's dated now, I know, but my intention here is to show, today, that no matter what you do or say with these people, it will never, ever, ever be enough.

I'm too old for "social" media so I'm not trying to make a living off of this, just some fun, make some jokes, wait to die.

Naturally I don't do the twatter thing so that link is obsolete.

Still, I am happy to hear from everyone, from all walks of life, at bignerd@techie.com. I tend to write a lot back, but booze makes me chatty.

To be clear, this video is not meant to offend anyone in any way. It is an opinion expressed by someone who happens to be a Big Huge Nerd, and who's a bit tired of the politics creeping in everywhere. If you don't know what I mean, because you have a gender studies degree from kindergarten, I'm saying that it wasn't an either/or thing until you made it one, just to find something about which to be offended.

I want everyone to be happy and to be allowed to express their views and opinions however they like. If you don't like the views expressed in this video, you have the freedom to tell me about it in the comments, or just ignore this work.

It is disheartening to see politics becoming a "thing" at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, as people are paying more attention to what's between their legs than what's between their ears, and I thought CERN was better than that. Even among physicists there are those who are trying to split a broadly tolerant and rational group into Us-ses and Them-ses, as children are wont to do.
