⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎞Chronicle of Battles in Starobilsk direction October 14-20, 2022

▪️On October 18, the Russian Armed Forces counterattacked in the Tavilzhanka section of the front, occupied the village of Horobivka and pinned the enemy to the Oskil River.

▪️The AFU units suffered significant losses, lost the initiative and turned to defense. Strongpoints are being established near the village of Synkivka, with mines are being employed.

▪️The AFU command made repeated attempts to establish control over the heights near the villages of Kyslivka and Kotlyarivka, which are key to the defense of Svatove in the northern flank.

▪️Despite heavy losses in manpower and equipment, the adversary failed to break the Russian Armed Forces' defense line. The main Ukrainian first and second echelon assault groups were defeated or suffered critical losses.

▪️Along the line along the Zherebets’ River from Raihorodok to Terny, the AFU, operating in a broad front, made several unsuccessful attempts to establish a staging point on the eastern bank.

▪️On October 17, Russian artillery launched preemptive strikes against enemy concentrations near the villages of Stelmakhivka, Rozivka, Karpivka, and Ivanivka, disrupting AFU preparations to force the river.

▪️In the area of Torske, after tedious fighting with units of the Russian Armed Forces 208th Cossack Regiment, the AFU withdrew its main forces to the west bank of the river.

▪️The offensive of the AFU in the Starobilsk section is stopped. The enemy concentrates reserves and remans its units that suffered losses in Lyman and on the western bank of the Oskil River. Position battles and artillery duels are taking place along the entire front line.
