ACAC Soccer Championships Set For Raymond - October 21, 2022 - Micah Quinn

The 2022 World Cup is set to kick off on November 20 in Qatar. The best soccer teams from around the world will go head-to-head to compete for the top prize of World Cup champions. Canada has qualified for the big event for the first time since 1986. Here in Alberta the top women’s and men’s collegiate teams from across the province are set to face off at Comet Stadium in Raymond for the 2022 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Soccer Championships. Lethbridge Kodiaks head coach for the men and women, Sean Carey, says the players have previous experience and are getting ready to go.

The first games get underway on October 28 with quarterfinal and semifinal action during the first two days. The last day will culminate with gold and bronze medal games set for October 30.
