RAW VIDEO: David Lametti & Rachel Bendayan Announce Handgun Freeze in Effect October 21st, 2022

A freeze on handgun sales in Canada comes into effect October 21st, in the latest move by the federal Liberals to restrict gun ownership in the country.

The freeze is part of a swath of new measures announced by the government earlier this year, including a proposed new law to make it harder for certain people to own any firearms at all.

The announcement was made by Minister of Justice & Attorney General of Canada, David Lametti. Also speaking was Rachel Bendayan, MP for Outremont, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Associate Minister of Finance.
