Question 1 - Patient has had chronic sinus issues diagnosed with CVID (Common Variable Immunodeficiency Disease) with low gamma globulin levels. It has been suggested to have monthly gamma globulin treatments. Please help me understand what is going on. Dr. Whaley explains the treatment.
Question 2 - Newly approved treatment for advanced breast cancer in patients, Low HER2. Patient successfully went through treatment 5 years ago and relapsed 2 years ago. Patient has had several different chemotherapy regimens over the years. The oncologist reviewed pathology results from 5 years ago and came to the conclusion to do the newly approved treatment.
