Originally uploaded in 2018. Perhaps you are stranded unable to get help. Cut untreated hair and burn it. Apply it to the bleeding wound. Do not cover. Do not press the ash into the wound. When bleeding has stopped, blow off what you can, but don't tug or pull at the wound.

Of course, if the wound is huge, other techniques may be called for. This is for small wounds bleeding profusely for its size when you are in a position to have to help someone.
