Negotiations Between Lebanon & Israel Shows the Rapidly Changing Face of the Middle East

An agreement is being negotiated between Israel and Lebanon to potentially partner in gas exploration off their respective coastlines, and even engage in sharing the ensuing profits. This agreement, regardless of whether it is ever finalized represents more than simply another Arab state widening its ties with Israel, but even more significant, given that Lebanon and Israel are still technically at war.
