Restoration of the damaged strip of the Crimean bridge is proceeding at an accelerated pace

The road workers began to dismantle the right side of the roadbed of the Crimean bridge, the Rosavtodor said in a statement.

The restoration of the Crimean bridge is being carried out at an accelerated pace. Workers simultaneously dismantle the affected elements, strengthen those that survived the explosion, and assemble new span sections at a special production base.

"The road workers have begun dismantling the damaged right span structures of the road part of the Crimean bridge. Work on the bridge crossing is being carried out around the clock, now 410 people and 40 pieces of equipment are involved in them," the report says.

Previously, the left side of the span structures on the bridge was reinforced, and dynamic and static tests of the structure were carried out.

"Now the road workers are dismantling the destroyed span structure on the right side of the road part of the bridge crossing. It will be cut into blocks, which will be loaded onto barges with the help of floating cranes and taken out of the water area to storage areas," Rosavtodor noted.

*** The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement by Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky that Ukraine was not involved in the explosion on the Crimean bridge.

Earlier, in an interview with CTV, Zelensky said that the Kyiv authorities "are not the customer of the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge."

Zakharova reminded Zelensky about the recognition of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Kuleba, who, on October 14, in a conversation with pranksters Vovan and Lexus (Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov), on the contrary, stated that Kyiv was involved in the state of emergency.

"Now it's clear. Kuleba is ordering their terrorist attacks," Zakharova summed up in her Telegram channel.
