Jacinda Ardern goes from “No need for sanctions for the unvaccinated”, to a two-tier society

Imposing sanctions (mandates, vax passes, etc) on those who chose not to get vaccinated was never really about protecting health (the jab didn't stop transmission or infection and that it would stop symptomatic illness, hospitalisation and death also turned out not to be true), it was about increasing vaccine uptake. In September 2020, Jacinda Ardern said she didn't think such sanctions would be necessary, because in the past this hadn't been required to get a high vaccine uptake. However, a year later, it was clear that sanctions for the unvaccinated, even if it meant creating a two-tier society, would be the method to use.

Mandates, "No jab, no job", and vaccine passes, while presented as ways of protecting the unvaccinated, were also really just ways of coercing people into getting vaccinated, as I've tried to show, using Jacinda's own words, in this video:
