It's VERY Sweet! The Deadwood SWEET JANE Corona - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

Today we’re going to talk about and review the Deadwood Tobacco Sweet Jane Corona, a cigar that’s NOT infused, but does have a sugar tip.

I’ve never been a fan of infused or flavored cigars. In my experience, the tobacco in those cigars is often mediocre at best, but then an infusion or flavors are added to compensate for the lesser quality tobacco.

But that’s other cigars. Will the Deadwood Sweet Jane be better? Different? Let’s dive in.

The first thing I noticed about the Sweet Jane was its aroma. But don’t worry; these cigars aren’t “infused” and they don’t smell like cloves. If you’ve ever smelled or smoked a Backwoods cigar from the pouch, you’ll understand what the Deadwood Sweet Jane smelled like.

I consider myself a cigar purist. I enjoy the taste of tobacco without anything added. That said, I didn’t hate the Sweet Jane immediately.

Will the Deadwood Tobacco Sweet Jane Corona be worth a $9 price point and will it satisfy a more seasoned cigar smoker? Stick around.

Final Thoughts

After smoking the Deadwood Tobacco Sweet Jane Corona for 52 minutes, I had mixed feelings about it.

First off, I didn’t like it. I did not really care for this type of cigar.

However, the construction of this cigar was perfect. For a corona, a smoke time of just under an hour is about right. And, while I think the price is a little higher than what I’d like to pay, the Sweet Jane performed quite well.

All that said and my personal feelings about the flavors aside, the Deadwood Tobacco Sweet Jane Corona earns a CigarScore 4.
