Webinar | UNRESTRICTED WARFARE | U.S. Elections ‘with Chinese Characteristics’

Foreign and Domestic Exploitation of America’s Electoral Vulnerabilities

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was keenly interested in the removal of the first U.S. president in decades who had understood and stood up to its ominous ambitions to dominate the entire world. Evidence continues to mount that it took advantage of vulnerabilities in our electoral system to try to stymie his reelection bid in 2020. There is, moreover, reason to believe that the CCP will try to do so again in the impending midterms in less than three weeks.

Of all the CCP’s “unrestricted warfare” lines of attack, such interference may be the most audacious. After all, if Beijing successfully replaced a president who is an inveterate foe of Communist China with one deeply compromised by Chinese intelligence, that “fundamental transformation” would amount to a political warfare coup of epic proportions.

This webinar in the CPDC “Unrestricted Warfare” series examines the extent to which we have allowed mechanisms and procedures to be used in our elections that are known to be highly susceptible to manipulation and fraud by domestic and foreign actors. And, if so, has the CCP in particular been able to engage in such subversive activities on a scale sufficient to produce electoral outcomes aligned with the interests of our mortal enemy, but that do not reflect the desires of a majority of Americans?
