Hero's Game by Dean Weaver

In 1975 I was Honorably Discharged from the Navy. Many veterans know what it was like to fly or take public transportation during the Vietnam War period while in uniform. Much of that attitude from others followed us home.
Once home, I went through depression. Finally snapping out of it before it cost me my wife and family.
During that time, I wrote this song. It sat on the shelf until a friend of mine talked me into recording a few of my songs including Hero's Game in 2003.
Once again it went back on the shelf.
Recently I've been coming to terms with that period in my life and was persuaded to take a leap.
I hope my friends and family enjoy it. The journey has been therapeutic for me.
