Any number of artists have copied James Taylor's "Bartender Blues" over the years but Josh Williams and his group's take on the song stands out in either studio or live version so coupled with Jerry LaCroix who was with Edgar Winter and BS&T for years, you have the mélange that is today's Segue City Special. So now we get to tidy up the studio to make way for the Kingfish which is what we call the Mayor when he isn't within hearing range...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
