Most of this video by Dr. Buettner is extremely technical and beyond my understanding. The upshot is that around 28:29 he begins to describe the mechanism by which ascorbate helps to selectively kill cancer cells by generating large amounts of hydrogen peroxide, which cancer cells cannot deal with as well as healthy cells.
