After the fire damage on October 10 at the Burshtynskaya and Ladyzhinskaya TPPs, Ukraine suspended the export of electricity to the northern regions of Moldova, which were partially powered by the Ukrainian power grid.

In our list (https://t.me/rybar/40124) of priority objects for fire damage, we indicated the coordinates of the turbine hall and autotransformers of the Burshtynskaya TPP, which must be disabled.

Analysis of the video from the site of today's strike made it possible to determine that the missiles hit exactly the area of ​​​​the station where the autotransformers are installed.

Why is the TPP located in Ivano-Frankivsk important? It feeds western Ukraine, as well as Transcarpathia and Precarpathia. Depending on the severity of the damage, the entire southwest of the country could face significant power shortages.

Taking into account the previous attacks on the Lvovskaya CHPP and Zapadnoukrainska 750 substation, it will be problematic to compensate for the shortage by transferring energy from other sources, such as the Rivne and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plants.

Burshtynska TPP is a critically important station for the western regions of Ukraine.
