Hundreds of activists rallied outside ‘The District’, an international real estate fair in Barcelona, denouncing housing shortages, forced evictions and the cost of living crisis. Organizers had to delay the event’s opening ceremony due to the unrest. Some of the demonstrators were seen throwing eggs and paint at attendees as they arrived.
