Synopsis:
Through our partnership with Tesla we’ve also been introduced to SPAN. SPAN is a smart panel company founded by former Tesla execs with well-designed features in the realm of secondary & off-grid power systems. While a SPAN panel is not for everyone, we would highly recommend it for anyone investing in solar and/or battery storage.

While the SPAN panel is a beautiful and well-planned piece of hardware, it does have some quirks that we’ll point out in this video as we open it up and prepare to swap it in for a previously installed “dumb” panel.
