Stars are always moving and changing. They change, grow, evolve, and die out. We’ve observed stars dying out and exploding.

We observe seasonal changes and drifting over time.

The fixed stars are so far away that we can barely detect any movement at all due to the astronomical distance they would have to cover to observe any change from billions of lifhtyears apart.
