Britain on Tuesday summoned China's Charge d'Affaires over the reports of a pro-democracy protester being assaulted inside the grounds of the Chinese consulate in Manchester. A video of the incident which shows the man being dragged into the consular grounds and assaulted by several men has gone viral. China's Foreign Ministry has claimed that protesters had broken into the consulate.
