Padron Executive Maduro Cigar Review - This 7.5x50 stick features a very firmly packed, oily, toothy wrapper with a single cap with a very faint, soapy aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with mild-medium notes of a slick, oily whispy smoke giving a sweet, soft cedar taste and a clean finish. The first third burns very quickly, with the body at a solid medium and the finish much longer. Notes are complex with a very smooth, musty peppery sweet cocoa, slight coffee and lingering black pepper taste without the texture or spice. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes just bringing the coffee note up to espresso levels, taking over as the primary flavor. The last third burned much slower and put out thicker richer smoke, up to a medium-full body, ending at 1:10 with the still a rich blend adding a cinnamon and perfect construction.
