Going into the states as a foreign traveler was as easy as pie, I simply showed them my passport, they didn't ask where I was going or what I was doing. They just nodded and waved me in.

Coming back to my own country on the other hand... well, the video shows it all.

Ultimately, I called the CBSA senior level officer and she agreed with me. She said that I was actually free to go the entire time and that I should've taken my passport and driven through without stopping.
