Lavern is a retired widow living in a nursing home. One day her granddaughter Camille called and told her that her mother has been gone for weeks and sold all the home furnishings and left her with nothing. Lavern left the nursing home to raise her granddaughter Camille and Warren a teen abandoned by his parents also he's Camille's Boyfriend. With her disability benefits taken away for leaving the nursing home,only a few simoleons in her purse and to old to work Lavern has to find a way to earn simoleons to provide a loving and safe home for Camille.
