Live coverage on DAY 5 of Trudeau's Emergency Act Inquiry. This is the government's chance to restore public faith in our judicial system and public institutions. Will the courts take this information and do the right thing and bring forth charges for politicians? On April 25, 2022, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appointed Former Ontario Superior Court justice Paul Rouleau as commissioner of an inquiry into the invocation of the Emergencies Act, which had occurred in response to the 2022 Canada convoy protest. By law, Rouleau must complete his report and submit it to the House of Commons and Senate in both official languages by February 20, 2023.
