Homeless/Drug-use curbed by defelonizing Fentanyl + Income/Capital Gains Tax? - NW Common Threads
State Rep Sharon Shewmake and St Senator Simon Sefzik take jabs at records and backers of each other on increases of homelessness in Whatcom County, running with taxation and drug use as entrenching/impacting people trapped in the Epidemic afflicting the Pacific Northwest.
Moderators Joe Teehan and Ken Bell presided over debate between numerous Legislative Whatcom candidates at the NW Common Threads Forum at Meridian Highschool with ranging from gas-to-electric mandates, inflation, drug possession policy, policing, etc.
The forum and subsequent debates took place in Bellingham, WA on October 14th, 2022 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, between 9+ WA candidates.
