What I Told College Students When They Asked Me About Prison Reform

Prison reform is always a great way to get votes from minorities, but at the end of the day the people in power don’t give a shit. It’s all double talk. Prisons make money and it keeps a distance between the haves and the have nots. No one realistically wants to know that an ex-felon got out of prison after doing ten years and makes more money than them. One thing about most ex-felons that have a good head on their shoulders is that they will out work the average person on the street who just goes to work to get a pay check.
