AMAZING PEACOCK DANCE

The peafowl, which are native to the jungles of India and Sri Lanka, have long lived in parks and gardens all over the world in a semi-domesticated state. During breeding season, peacocks use their exquisite tail feathers to entice peahens, the females. To the "women," they can actually come out as conceited and self-obsessed. As they posture and display their stunning plumage, they rise and fan the feathers out, prance, and strut while sometimes swiftly shaking their wings and tail feathers, which produces a loud rustling sound.
Typically, men and women maintain different lifestyles. However, during the breeding season, the males engage in polygamy and mate with four to five females. Despite the fact that they are ground-dwelling birds, they fly up into trees or other high places to roost to avoid predators.
The only difference between PIED PEACOCK and conventional India blues is that PIED PEACOCK has white spots and specks throughout.
