What threatens the breakthrough of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station:

1. Colossal streams of water will sweep away everything in its path. The discharge of water will take several days.

2. Coastal settlements and environs of Kherson will be flooded, the consequences for the regional center of Golaya Pristan will be catastrophic.

3. Kherson region will be in a multi-day state of emergency.

4. Up to 50 thousand people will suffer.

5. The cooling mechanism of the Zaporizhzhya NPP will become more complicated.

6. The huge Kakhovka reservoir will become shallow.

7. For years, the energy system of the southern part of the former Ukraine and the liberated territories of New Russia will be destroyed.

8. It will take years to restore infrastructure from the consequences of Ukrainian terrorist shelling.

9. Irreparable damage will be done to nature. Ecology will be restored for decades."
