Bicycle Tourists, Recumbents, Trikes, Unicycles, Electric Assist, Fat Bikes, Bikepackers and so on, I want to publish your short stories.

I have bicycle toured through 12 countries between England and Thailand and gained much experience on what was my first tour. I am also a successful independent self-publisher for several years.

I want to gather 20 short stories to compile into a book I will publish in paperback on Amazon. If I don’t receive 20 short stories, I will not be able to publish the book. Once I have received the 20 stories, it might take many months to go live on Amazon.

IMPORTANT: Once I have received your story, you will be unable to change it or retract it. You will not be able to have to book taken from the sale or edited in any way. You will not receive any royalties or payments for your entry. By sending me your story, you agree to these conditions.

Requirements:

Word Count: Between 2000 to 5000 words. Not Under or Over.

Editing: You are responsible for ensuring the story is free from spelling mistakes, typos and correct grammar. If I catch a spelling mistake, and only if, I will correct it on your behalf. When it comes to grammar, I will not change this as it could well be your writing style, and I don’t want to interfere with that.

Images/Maps: (A limit of 5 per story) If you provide images, ensure they are of the highest quality. Not blurred or pixilated once printed. If you are placing the photos in your story, that’s fine, but ideally, you would send the pictures in a separate file with instructions on where each image sits between the wording.

Language: I only speak English, so the story must be in English. It must also be free from vulgar wording, sexism, racism, politics, or anything set to upset others without the same views.

Author and Contact: Your name will be added as the Author’s name, of course, so make sure you send it as you want. You can also add a web address or social media address. Be sure it is one you’ll keep, as it will not be possible to alter or remove it once the book has been published.

Royalties: You do not receive royalties or make any money from your story in the publication. I will keep the price down so that I only earn a small percentage from the sales to cover my expenses.
