Ray Bowman and William Kirkpatrick made up a bank robbing team that earned them the FBI nickname "the Trenchcoat Bank Robbers." These two hardmen pulled off 28 successful bank robberies taking well over $8 million between 1982 and 1997, including the largest successful bank robbery in the United States with over $4,461,000.
