In a provocative article entitled "Transhumanism and Synthetic Spirituality: Meet The Godmother" Author John Klyczek dissects "the late Barbara Hubbard, a Rockefeller-funded New Age guru, who was critical to the development of the ideas, beliefs, and technology necessary to market transhumanism as spiritual enlightenment." Barbara had a passion for Conscious Evolution and was quite visionary, but she might have been used to push an agenda that she was not aware of or fully embraced.
