Kim Hermann says the battle between equality and equity goes back to the civil rights era

Kim Hermann, Southeastern Legal Foundation General Counsel, says there was a faction in the civil rights fight that pushed for equity instead of equality and that the idea has trickled down from educational academics to today's classrooms.
